These shoes are priced appropriately to move. I painstakingly stripped all of the old polish off of these shoes with Saphir Renomat, used Saphir Médaille d'Or Renovateur to carefully clean and sanitize the shoes inside and out, and then used Saphir Cordovan Cream Shoe Polish in neutral to polish them. No expense in time or money was spared to care for these. Until these are shipped to you, the buyer, they are carefully stored with my best cedar shoe trees in the appropriate size. To note: Alden's lasts are all "combination" lasts, where the heel is two widths narrower than the rest of the shoe. Alden denotes the width of the shoe as a fraction: the top of the fraction represents the width of the heel, while the bottom represents the width of the rest of the shoe. The bottom of the fraction is considered the width of the shoe and is the width upon which you should base your sizing. If the item is multi-quantity, only one photo set is taken. This allows us to combine them into one listing. Rest assured you will receive the correct item as ordered. We pride ourselves on taking great pictures and describing items accurately.
