Description: Alboth Kaiser Gold Floral Scrollwork & Encrusted Crimson Demitasse Cup & Saucer Very pretty porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with gold gilt floral scrollwork over a wide dark red / crimson band. With gold encrusted scrollwork and lattice pattern on either side of the red. Marked on the bottom with a green crown over Alka Kunst Kronach Bavaria. This mark was used by Alboth & Kaiser between 1947 and 1958. However, it has Germany US Zone underneath which dates it between 1946 and 1949. Minor usage wear to the center of the saucer and minor wear to the gilding consistent with age. Otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide.
