Description: This is a beautiful original oil painting in Griffith Park, 4,210 acre park in Los Angeles. Griffith Park is one of the largest municipal parks with urban wilderness areas in the U.S. It was painted in 1968 by Albert Londraville (1922-2015). He studied under the famous Russian American Master, Nicolai Fechin, and was a MGM scenic artist who painted movie backdrops. Albert also studied at the Lukits’ Academy of Fine Arts and often painted on site (plein air). See his full bio on my website www.albertlondraville.com. This painting was purchased directly from the successor trustee for the Albert Londraville Trust. It is mounted in a beautiful gold frame.
