Description: EXTREMELY RARE 1979 BATMAN 'JUNIOR SPEEDBOAT' BATBOAT from AHI (Azrak Hamway International) Mint on Card! The bubble is a little broken while still totally on the card as it was from the factory, the boat itself has NEVER been used, is mint-clean and the mint-condition stickers on the boat have excellent color and zero fading. The card may be a little worn on the edges, but the Batman & Robin art at the top of the card is not faded either and it is impossible to find this version of the Batboat even loose as these were very fragile and broke quickly, despite their claim to run well without batteries. Unlike the AHI Batmobile/Batboat sets where the boat is directly based on the design from the Adam West BATMAN series and feature film, this is a smaller version of the other alternate boat design AHI used for their 11-inch radio controlled version of the Batboat that is more commonly for sale. This smaller version is only 5 inches and complete with cord to make it run. This item is in a collectible plastic bag with acid-free cardboard and is in a protective box. Up there with the early die cast Husky, Corgi, Duncan, Eidai, Bichi and even Aurora Batboats, serious collectors will want to get this one ASAP!
