It features the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and Chief Inspector Japp. It is a "closed circle" murder mystery: the victim is a passenger on a cross-Channel aircraft flight, and the perpetrator can only be one of eleven fellow-passengers and crew. The book is in VERY GOOD+ vintage condition - square spine, firm hinges and joints. Colorful, unfaded, clean boards. Rubbing to spine tips, bumped corners. Several folded page corners. Foxing to edges, endpapers and first few and last few pages. Pencil writing and partially erased writing of former bookseller on half-title page.
