Materials: Wood.Presumed age: 1950s to 1960s.Lovely Ashanti doll called "Akwaba" (which means "welcome" in most Akan ethnic groups), or fertility. On this statuette we find the ovoid-shaped head, identifiable among Ashanti dolls.The piece presents a pair of legs, whereas for most of these dolls, the legs are materialized by a trunk.Very beautiful patina, predominantly brown and shiny.
