Description: Aesthetic Antique 1880 Sandwich Glass Decorated Lamp Shade Hanging Lamp 14" Condition of shade is super with no nicks or chips. It appears to be hand-painted throughout with no decals. Quality of painting is exquisite and typical of Sandwich glass. Pin stripe lines at the top and bottom rims are hallmarks of Sandwich shades. Flower appears to be a beach rose but I am not certain. Beach roses are common in the shore area close to the old Sandwich factory site. This flower has appeared on several of the shades in my collection. Paint essentially 100% intact.
