Description: Up for sale is a used Acoustic Research XB Turntable in very good condition with original box, paperwork and accessories. We tested it with both 45 and 33 RPM records and sounds good. Cosmetically, the black top base is in excellent condition. The outer cabinet is free of cracks and chips but the wood grain laminate is peeled back in some areas along the bottom edge (it appears that could be re-glued). The dust cover is in exceptionally nice condition with only one minor scuff on one side. There are no cracks or other scratches present although the top badge is missing. The original head shell in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scatches). The cartridge is a Shure brand and the stylus is a Radio Shack replacement bought years ago. We removed the stylus from the package, installed it and used it to test the turntable. Many of the original accessories are present including the 45 RPM record adapter, stylus force gauge, cartridge mounting hardware envelope/screw driver and the tone arm adjustment guide. The original operating instruction manual, cartridge mounting instructions, AR technical specification sheet, needle force gauge instructions and turntable packing/shipping information sheets are included. Note that I've added a $10 handling fee to cover the cost of insurance due to the high value of this turntable (eBay does not have a way to add additional insurance to listings).
