All strings respond well, and the bass is heavy and powerful, but the plain strings are no match for it. It is impressive that all the tones of each pitch are balanced without any breakdown. Those who are familiar with Furch from this time will understand that at that time, 25 grade was not as popular as it is now due to the use of famous artists, and Furch was concentrated on 23 grade elites. The wide grain of the wood is beautifully aligned, as is typical of Adirondack. The Madagascar has a dark reddish-black wood with black stripes. The contrast with the curly core binding is beautiful. The head veneer, fingerboard, and bridge are also made of jet black ebony. This instrument was made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the import of Forch, and is made of special wood. The nut width is narrow at 43mm (1.69 inch). Overall, it is in very good condition. The neck is straight with no rise at the base, and the string height above the 12th fret is standard at 2.4mm (.09 inch) on the 6th string side and 1.8mm (.07 inch) on the 1st string side. The saddle height is 3.2mm (.12 inch) below the 6th string and 2.1mm (.08 inch) below the 1st string. There is no history of strap pins being installed or pickups being installed. More than 90% of the frets are in good condition. The strings have deteriorated to some extent, so please replace them. There is a slight belly on the top. As you can see from the string height and saddle height values above, they are within the normal range. It is quite clean, but there are a few inconspicuous marks, so it is not undamaged. It does not damage the appearance, but there was a marks on the underside of the bridge pin head around the neck when it with a pin remover. Since the neck is a thick pin shape,, it recommend not using a pin remover, but inserting your hand through the sound hole and pushing the foot of the pin from the back. When doing so, it adjusted the neck of the pin so that the bridge pin is tight and not difficult to remove. Like luthier's products, it is made for each string, and the feet are marked for the 6th to 1st strings. As you can see in the photo, the thick clear pickguard attached to the top left some burn marks. Probably the burn marks are minor, but some people may be concerned. The pickguard has been removed to prevent the burn marks from getting worse in the future. The appearance changes depending on the surrounding brightness and angle, so I have prepared two photos of the top. All accessories are shown in the photo.
