Gilbert Co., the same company that made American Flyer trains, Erector Sets, Chemistry, and 100’s of other great “toy’s”. Kaster Kits were offered in the 1930’s, and offered 44 different lead molds. This is mold #S51 “Medical Officer”, three dimensional figure, mold is what was called the “slush mold”, made to fit into one of the casting machines. You don’t have to use the machine, I just use paper clips and a Lee melting pot. Mold is about 2 7/8” in diameter, figure is about 2 1/2” tall. Makes a very nicely detailed figure, medical office carrying a medical bag. Again this mold is from the late 1930’s. Mold fits together nice and tight, there is no warpage. Includes 1 cast figure. The painted figure is NOT included, just to show you what it could look like. There is no box. I will send along a copy of the an advertisement.
