Description: Abbotts Phit-eesi Boots & Shoes from Les Maitres de l'Affiche Plate 92 Original 1897 printing lithograph. Has the embossed seal of authentication from the printer, Imprimerie Chaix, in the lower right corner of the sheet ( hard to see, but if you click on enlarge on the third photograph you can see it. Found in a attic find estate sale box of paper, all from the late 1890's through the late 1910's! Measures about 15" x 11" , color litho portion of the plate measures about 13" x 9". Some minor color fading, bust still a vivid advertisement for a shoe company. Two men and a woman in high fashion, with a dog , all shown from behind to highlight the shoes :-) Has edge wear, small tears and creases to the edges. Some tanning to the paper. Bottom edge pf the plate has tearing, a small hole , and other wear. Please look at all photos to see the true condition of this print. We will bubble wrap this print to heavy cardboard to prevent any more wear to your print .
