Author Biography Luis de Rivera, MD, is Professor of Psychiatry in Madrid Autonomous University and former Professor of Psychiatry at McMaster University in Canada. Trained in Psychiatry at McGill University and in Psychoanalysis at the American Academy of Psychoanalysis in New York, he is now the director of the Madrid Institute of Psychotherapy, in Spain. In 1997 he described the AIM Syndrome, better known by its spanish rendering of "Syndrome MIA", a character disorder often present in managers prone to bully their subordinates. Since then, he has published several works on Mobbing or Adult Bullying. He is a regular consultant to the Spanish Legal System and to the empresarial world.
