Bindesbøll was one of Denmark's most important architects at the turn of the twentieth century. To the rest of the world, he is best known as the creator of the Carlsberg label. Bindesbøll designed and created silver objects, furniture, sculptures, pottery and more. Bindesbøll is included in the official Danish Cultural Canon, a list of 108 works of art that are considered essential to Danish cultural heritage.
