Written for the screen by Alun Owen, this somewhat biographical film follows 36 hours in the lives of the super group. The film was a huge box office success and is rated as one of the 100 all-time greatest films by Time Magazine. This poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium in 1964. It is in very nice condition with a few minor tears and stains. The striking artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster. It is a "must have" for any Beatles fan or poster collector. DESCRIPTION: A Hard Day's Night (1964) - United Artists, Directed by Richard Lester.COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 16.25" x 25.25"CONDITION: Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed Top Border has an extra horizontal fold and a one-inch tear in the center. A few small tears, bumps and minor crinkling in the surrounding borders. A two-inch tear in the right side border that was repaired with tape on the reverse. Two small areas of staining in the bottom and left side border edges which do not affect the artwork. (see photos) Slight overall yellowing to the paper. Artwork is vivid and intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for 21 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy new tube or box.
