[36] unnumbered pages, illustrated with pictorial endpapers, a color illustration as half-title, a full-page color frontispiece, title page vignette, a full-page black & white illustration and 33 full-page color illustrations by Louis Wain. The text block is cracked and there is some light scattered foxing. There is a child's minor crayon scribbling to 3 of the illustrations ("U", "W", and the illustration to "This is a Gardener") and to the rear pastedown. Good.
