It dates from the late 1800's or early 1900's and is extremely elegant ~ it's a wonderful silk velvet piece that was discharge dyed with a wonderful floral pattern! A bleaching agent was printed on to the piece so create this elegant floral pattern. It's tone is a golden tone of brownish?? ~ I can't quilt put my finger on the color as it changes depending on the light ~ There is silk fringe around the edges ~ ( please see condition details below. Wonder used a shawl, table runner, pillow fabric , wall hanging etc! ~ Measurements : This textile measures approximately 81 inches long by 25 inches long CONDITION : This lovely textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition.
