Description: 8 antique blown glass, hollow, round buttons measure approximately 5/16" to 1/2" in diameter. They are a pearlized white color with 2 that are colored a bit with pink and gray. The buttons have clear blown glass shanks. These very old buttons were made in the 1800's (between 1840 - 1900) and are in very good condition. All of them are slightly different since they were all hand blown glass buttons. The pearlized color was blown into the hollow inside of the button. A design or pattern was made on the tops of each of these buttons - when they were slightly flattened. Three of the buttons are a little more translucent and were found strung together.The buttons are much stronger than they look. Thank you for shopping with me.
