Description: Presented is a nice set of 8 American coin silver teaspoons made by Albert Coles. The spoons are done in the Jenny Lind pattern which was first produced in 1850. Each spoon is engraved on the end of the handle with EFT in an elegant script. The spoons are all stamped on the reverse with a maker’s mark for Albert Coles. Tested and guaranteed to be 900 purity coin silver. These spoons were undoubtedly made in the 1850s or 1860s. The condition is fair. The spoons have some surface wear commensurate with age and use, and some dings and dents to some of the bowls, but this is minor. There are no major dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The spoons are 6 1/8 inches long. The weight is 180.2 grams or 6.3 ounces. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
