Description: The Patch: This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage 76th Infantry Division shoulder patch with a white back. This patch is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. The History: The 76th embarked for the European Theater in December of 1944. Their first action came in Luxembourg in January of 1945. They took part in heavy patrolling near the Sauer River and broke throught the Siegfried line in February of 1945. They then attacked toward the Moselle and the Rhine Rivers. After crossing the Rhine, the 76th spearheaded the Third Army's attack into Czechoslovakia. They secured a bridgehead across the Mulde River and remained there until the war ended.Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received.
