Description: This is a wonderful little collection of 7 tintypes with the same backdrop. I assume they're from the same family. We see a column, a hillside, a plinth, and steps. The columns look three-dimensional at first, but I think that’s the clever placement of elbows to give the impression of greater depth. Also, note that the photographer has drawn a line on the rounded part of the column, near the top, for more definition. You’ll see it at about eye level. SIZE. These range in size from approximately 3 3/8 x 2 3/8 to approximately 3 13/16 x 2 1/2 inches. CONDITION. No bends. Very good to excellent. APPEARANCE. Very good to excellent.
