Description: A beautiful vintage brass and cloisonn/enamel raised bowl, scallop edged, handmade in India and manufactured by Penco Industries in the late 1960s or 1970s. This piece features a reticulated design of an ornate floral and fauna pattern with a mixture of European and Middle Eastern decorative accents, with a dusty rose enamel inlay with hints of grayish sage green and black as accent colors. The pedestal elevation casts a beautiful lace-like shadow. Would compliment any bohemian, modern victorian, cottage chic or maximalist decor. In good pre-owned condition consistent with age and use, and ready to display. There is some minor wear to the brass, and some areas of erosion and cracking to the enamel inlay.
