They are exceptionally resistant to petroleum based oils and fuels. These o-rings perform well with most diluted acids, silicone oils & lubricants, petroleum fuels & oils, and for water applications. It is not recommended for use with ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Nitrile o-rings are commonly used in hydraulic/pneumatic motors, cylinders, pumps and valves.
