This ore has visible gold in some areas and is an excellent example of what CALIFORNIA GOLD ORE is and will surly reveal the treasure it holds if processed correctly. WHERE DID IT COME FROM: I Located a QUARTZ vein near Jamestown, CA. AKA “The Motherlode” or the “queen of the southern mines” and home of the Harvard Mine which produced the largest crystalline gold nugget ever found at a whopping 44 pounds. In addition to the nugget, the mine often produced 12 or more ounces of Gold per every 1 ton of material processed, which are staggering numbers. Another name for the area that I find to be the most fitting is “GOLD COUNTRY” because it is without a doubt GOLD COUNTRY!
