But when this was published in 1937, it was still just The Ohio Oil Company, and the history and the men who made it are depicted in detail and pictures in this fascinating history of this storied company. 55 pages including exploration, pipeline, refining and property maps are shown, photographs of the early founders, wells, pipelines etc. This publication is now over 87 years old and in excellent shape, with some minor storage wear, and a printing smudge error on the cover of purple ink, as shown in the feature photo. Some minor toning, and spotting. No tears, dog ears, or ripped pages observed, and no pages are missing. Staple bound. Note: The last photo of a Marathon service station from the late 40's is for reference only. When this book was published, Ohio Oil had not merged with Marathon yet.
