5-1/4” Cast Iron Pulley Vintage NOS Industrial INV-AA32

Description: For sale is a vintage cast iron wheel/industrial belt pulley. This measures approximately 5-1/4” inches wide, and is approximately 2 inches deep. There is an outside groove in it, that would’ve held some sort of belt. If you need specific measurements, please contact me and I will do my best to provide. It appears that the opening is approximately 3/4” inch across, with a groove cut out to put in a key and a threaded hole for a set screw (that is already in place and comes with this pulley). It weighs just under 2 pounds. It is marked with the part number AC-53-55 these do sit flat on a surface, and would make a great base to put a rod/stick in it and mount things from. These have a great steam punk look to them, and are very easily re-purposed into a number of different things. I do have a larger wheels available, please contact me if interested. I dohave more than one of these available, so while you may not receive the exact item in the picture you will receive one in equal or better condition. Please refer to the pictures for the overall condition… It is representative of what the other ones look like. this came from a three generation industrial surplus business that was around for over 70 years. I don’t know the exact age of this piece, but it is at least 50 years old… And has spent the last 50 years of its life up in an attic of a building forgotten about. I don’t know what its original purpose would’ve been, but either is military issued or came from an old factory. It does have the original gray paint on it… And due to its age and being metal, There is some light rust starting to form… But it does not take away from this being a quality piece.
