Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~*~ This lovely textile is a hand loomed rag rug from Europe, dating from the early to mid 1900's, Beautiful, but this bolt is damaged with time and use ! I didn't see the holes when I was photographing so they are not easy to see, SO i've reduced the price even further ~ there are damaged areas on this bolt! ~*~ ~ Gorgeous farmhouse striped pattern and colors! ~*~ ~This hand woven runner has areas of damage where the warp thread has broken creating a hole and not holding the weft rag area in place. This bolt is in our SALE category as it's ideal for creative hands or lovely too for repair! ( please see below *~ ~*~ This textile was woven by hand and used as floor covering. This bolt was woven with a cotton thread warp and the weft is woven with strips of various cloths! In this textile (if you look closely) there is just about every color of the rainbow. So many colors!! Some lovely muted colors and other bright ones! CONDITION : CONDITION : This rag rug is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. ~*~ These bolts were used as floor coverings and then put away, uncleaned! I've sold these wonderful textiles for many years now, and have never had an unhappy customer, however it's very important to know that it is necessary to dry clean BEFORE it can be enjoyed! The unwashed condition is reflected in the price! *~ This lovely bolt has holes , that can be repaired or cut around.
