Description: 405nm 100mW Laser w/Power Supply Low-Noise High-Stability Cytometry Fluorescence Self-contained UV laser with integrated laser diode and TEC drivers. Made by Pavilion Integration for a large biotech firm, these produce over 100mW of 405nm output at in a very compact enclosure. These have built-in temperature control and Auto Power Control (APC) to keep the wavelength and output power very stable. These are designed for applications such as flow cytometry or UV illumination. Note that these are made to have low coherence which results in low speckle making them ideal for illumination. This unit is attached to a baseplate with beam correcting optics which produce a circularized beam in the far field. This should allow the beam to be focused to a smaller spot than the uncorrected beam. We're including a pre-wired power supply with the +5V and +9V required to run this laser. Laser architecture based on laser diodes offers significantly increased lifetime, and improved efficiency (<4 W) over DPSS, HeCd or Argon lasers. Laser diodes can exhibit mode hops which can result in increased optical noise. The WhisperIT® technology eliminates such mode hops and turns laser diode light into highly stable light output. Whisper lasers have low coherence and speckle, near immunity to damage from back reflected light, and have the lowest noise available from a commercially available diode laser.
