Description: Set of 4 Roemer Cut, Etched Wine Glasses, "Roemers" are a type of historic, traditional German glassware that originates in style from when the ancient Romans occupied barbarian Germany, and, too far from their homeland to import glass, the soldiers made their own wine glasses with a colored beehive stem and a clear bowl. These pretty little glasses have a rounded bubble stem in olive green, and bowls that are etched in grapes, vines and leaves. Three have an etched Fleur De Lis backstamp. On close examination, despite the similarity in shape and color of the stem, one is slightly different; please examine the photos carefully to make sure it is acceptable to you! It is very hard to tell which one is different. Sizes: 3 at 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" rim; 1 at 4 1/2" high, 2 3/4" rim Very good pre-owned condition, no chips or cracks. Because of the practical difficulty of packing and shipping fragile glass items, we do not accept returns. Review all information carefully so you are sure of your purchase. Because we love vintage items, we pack glassware with the utmost of care, with multiple layers of bubble wrap, additional padding, and Fragile stickers. Breakage has been very, very rare, less than 1% of our shipments. However, we can't prevent rough handling, machine damage, or misdirection once the shipping service has it in their hands. Packages are insured for their sold price, excluding shipping costs, and all refunds due to breakage will be divided by the number of items in the package (i.e. no full refunds for one item broken out of a set.) Absolutely let us know if this happens! We will need photos of the broken item(s), packing and packaging before any insurance claim or refund. Note: we don't control shipping costs. Shipping is determined by weight, size, and how many zones you are away from our MI location. We do not charge handling fees.
