4 Cedar Bird Houses, Bluebird, Wren, Chickadee, Cardinal, Natural or Scorched

Description: Hello and welcome to River in the Woods, your home for cedar bird houses. My son and daughter help make them in our garage.This lot is for 4 bird houses, 1 of each. 1 Bluebird, 1 Wren, 1 Chickadee, 1 Cardinal All of our bird houses are made from 5/8” think cedar fence pickets. Each house has a 15 degree sloped roof to allow water to run off and holes in the bottom to allow any water has entered to drain. Each house also comes with a 3.5” screw that is plenty long enough to makes its way through the roof, out the back and into a post or tree. For the Bluebird, wren and chickadee houses, there is a small screw on the bottom of the left side that will allow that side to hinge open for easy clean out. Because they are made of cedar, they will resist rot and decay without the use of sealant or paint. If you choose to seal or paint them, please research the proper and safe way to do this as not to hurt the birds. We have 4 different houses to choose from: · Bluebird o 10” tall in the back, 8.25” tall in the front and 6.75” from front to back. The entrance hole in the front is 1.5” (1-1/2") in diameter, which will allow for a bluebird to enter, as well as any smaller birds. Please keep in mind that just because it is big enough for a bluebird, that doesn’t mean the smaller birds won’t try to occupy it. · Wren o 9” tall in the back, 7.75” tall in the front and 4.75” from front to back. The entrance hole in the front is 1.25” (1-1/4") in diameter, which will allow for a wren to enter, as well as any smaller birds, but too small to allow a bluebird or bigger bird to enter. · Chickadee o Same dimensions as the wren house, however the opening is only 1.125” (1-1/8") in diameter, allowing only the small birds to be able to occupy. · Cardinal o 9.75” tall in the back, 8” tall in the front and 6.75” from front to back. Cardinals will not go into a hole, so the front of the house is open for our claustrophobic feathered friends. We have all houses available natural or scorched. The scorching will neither attract nor distract birds from using them, it is simply cosmetic. Please check our eBay store as we have many combinations available.
