Description: These large (approx. baseball or larger, see the quarter) river rocks are from an area of metamorphic and igneous geology in central Idaho. Translation: they're very colorful! The photos are of the actual stones you will receive. I MAY add a few smaller rocks to fill in the gaps in the box. In the first photo the rocks are wet; the way they would look in an aquarium or water feature. In the second, they are dry, the way they would look in landscaping. Hand selected and hosed off - not treated in any way. And check out my store for the other river stone lots I have listed, including flat, smooth rocks for rock painting. By the way, the lot numbers (lot 1, 2, 3 etc.) do not indicate quality, just the order in which I gathered the rocks and a way to tell the boxes apart when filled. And 30 pounds (approximate weight) is the about the most of this size rock I can fit in a USPS medium flat rate box. There may be some smaller rocks to fill in the gaps.
