Description: For your consideration is a lot of 3 vintage hand painted signs from the Larry Rowe Golf Course, now known as South Portland Municipal Golf Course. The South Portland Municipal Public Golf Course was created by golf pro Lawrence Vincent "Larry" Rowe (1898-1976) in 1931. It is a popular nine-hole course today that caters to many amateur and beginner golfers. I believe these signs were done around 1950. The 2 signs with the black painted background are on 1/4" plywood and the sign with the white background is painted on an antique lapboard or dough board. The Green Fees sign measures 24" by 29". The Electric Cart sign measures 19" by 24". The Carts Not Allowed sign measures 20" by 26". I have made no attempt to clean these. As found basement condition. They will clean up nicely if desired. One money for the lot. All my items are purchased from local homes and estates and are always fresh to the market. International buyers please inquire to get an accurate shipping quote.
