Description: In the early 1950s, LINDE of Austria offered soft plastic figures as premiums from their Kaffee product - a mixture of real coffee and a substitute. This group of 28 animal figures are from their animal series 1-4 and the ostrich from series 5 of birds. Some are quite original in sculpting, such as the Gorilla while others like the standing grizzly bear replicated the sculpting from Elastolin composition figures only on a smaller playset size scale. All figures are in very fine condition with minor wear and no damage and include: COW, HORSE, COLLIE DOG, PENGUIN, OSTRICH, TORTOISE, ALLIGATOR, 3 different poses of ELEPHANT, BACTRIAN CAMEL, DROMEDARY CAMEL, LION, LIONESS, TIGER, HIPPOPOTAMUS, RHINOCEROS, GORILLA, GIRAFFE, KANGAROO, SEA LION, EUROPEAN BISON, WILD BOAR, RED DEER STAG, GRIZZLY BEAR, IBEX, ROE DEER buck, and DEER Hind (Doe).
