These are designed to sit on top of a standard 6 cu. ft. wheel barrow/dump cart (used on top of a Gorilla Garden Dump Cart in the photos). NOTE: The sifter in the photos uses 2x4 inch wood, however the ones I am selling use 1x2 inch wood. This drastically reduces the weight of the item without having any impact to its durability. The purpose of this sifter is to screen out the large chunks of mulch/sticks/twigs that are found in all of the affordable bags of topsoil. These large chunks of mulch (and sometimes even pebbles/rocks), if laid without screening, WILL damage your mower blades before they are rifled out from under the lawn mower. By saving you the time/money/hassle of having to replace your mower blades, this sifter (along with a touch of elbow grease) will pay for itself. Buying prescreened topsoil will typically cost you at least 10x the price of a standard bag of topsoil from Home Depot. If you screen the soil yourself, you can use the sifted mulch and/or large peat nubbins (if screening peat moss) elsewhere in your flowerbed/garden where they are able to provide beneficial use. I have even started to make my own soil mix with the leftovers which has saved me from buying new bags. I work very hard to make a great product and I am diligent about ensuring your satisfaction.
