Description: Untitled Document 1 Chrome 26" Ballooner Fender Brace Your are Bidding on one Nice New Import Chrome Fender Brace for 26" Ballooner Fenders, That is fenders for Ballooner 26"x 2.125" Tires and Wheels. Brace is Good Quality with a Nice Chrome Finish. I find this to be one of the best on the market. The brace mounts to the wheel's axle and at the fender it has a 3/16" center hole and 13/64" hole and slot. The Slot gives you some adjustibility although I would rather have a slot on both sides. We use a lot of these on Custom Bikes and Restorations, but usually have to customize and re drill most for a perfect fit, luckily any work and drilling is hidden away under the fender. This is a Ballooner Brace, but that is by todays standard and not yester years. The Brace's fender loop in not very deep so the brace does not work real good with Deep Prewar or the Deep Schwinn Ballooner Fenders and this is the case with all new braces. This New brace does work well with Prewar Schwinn Shallow Ballooner Fenders like most DX Fenders, and Post war Economy Schwinn Bikes Like Tornado and Spitfire with the shallow Ballooner Fenders. This Brace works pretty good with Vintage Schwinn Middleweights. I really like the quality and look of this brace, although we usually have to customize them, should you be clever and handy you will be pleased also.
