Description: Sealed contractor pack containing 25 LED tubes with built-in aluminum heat sinks designed to replace ALL fluorescent bulbs with the G13 bi-pin ends as pictured, after re-wiring your fixtures. This is a unbelievable low price in limited supply. When there gone they are gone! These bulbs fit into 4' foot fluorescent light fixtures with the G13 double pin ends so you can reuse your lamp holders, just re-wire them: First you will need to remove the ballast. Next 1 or 2 pins at end of the tube needs to have an input power of 110-277 volts AC. At the other end of the tube 1 or 2 pins must to be connected to neutral. IMPORTANT: Only one end of the tube can be connected power and the other end connected to neutral. You CANNOT connect + and - to the same end of the LED because inside the LED the 2 pins at each end are wired together. The backside of each tube features a full-length aluminum heat sink. Don't confuse our low price on these LED's with cheap plastic or glass LED's! LED's MUST dissipate heat to reach their life expectancy. Glass and plastic are insulators; aluminum is an excellent conductor of heat and extends the life of these LED's. These LED's are configured for maximum light output and the highest efficiency so the internal power supply is not dimmable and the dust cover over the LED's is milky. Each 4 foot long tube uses about 18 watts of power and produces about 1500LM. The color temperature 6000K is so it is bluish daylight white color. Each florescent light consumes electricity in 2 ways. First, the tube itself needs electricity but fluorescent lights also require ballast, the ballast also requires electricity. LED's do not require a ballast. After the savings in electricity the #2 most common wow factor after a fluorescent to LED conversion is the silence. LED’s do not buzz or hum. Many people claim they never realized how noisy their florescent lights were until they experienced “The LED Silence”. The silence can earn rave reviews in many different applications from both customers and employees. Eliminating the ballast also eliminates the limited light output common with florescent lights operating in low temperatures. Unlike florescent lights, LED's do not have a "warm up" period. When you flip the switch there is no delay or flicker at start up. LED's provide 100% full brightness immediately, even in below freezing temperatures. Fluorescent light may look like they are “on” to the human eye but fluorescent lights actually turn on and off many times each second. The on-off-on can cause eye strain and fatigue. LED’s are “on” and do not turn on and off many times per second. Florescent lights have mercury inside which is a hazardous material. LED's do not contain Mercury so there is no need to evacuate if an LED is dropped on the ground. There are also no disposal fees at the end of an LED's life. In fact, you may be able to receive money for recycling LED's. In many areas, scrap metal yards will pay you when you drop off LED's because of the valuable aluminum heat sink along the entire length of the tube. Fluorescent bulb manufactures are beginning to publicize the fact that in order to reach the bulb's life expectancy, you must turn the bulbs on for a minimum of 3 hours or you will see a shortened service life. LED's do not suffer this pitfall. You will not shorten the life expectancy of LED's by turning them on and off many times during the day.
