About VanDerZee Motorplex VanDerZee Motorplex is a 33 year FAMILY OWNED powersports dealership located in South Haven, Michgan 49090. (I-196, exit 20 just 90 minutes from Chicago). My father, Ed VanDerZee owned the Pontiac dealership in South Haven from 1957 to 1978 and his sons (my brother and I) owned it until 1991 selling Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Jeep. My Dad taught me the values of Honor and Integrity. He did business when a handshake was your bond. We think that it was a pretty darned good way to do business. In 1991 Ray and Linda VanDerZee added Kawasaki Jet Ski watercraft to their new facility which housed their auto leasing dealership and it was an immediate success. The powersports business continued to grow and by 2006 a new and larger facility was needed.
