These are early release quarters minted and packed in February prior to the March 27, 2023 release date, so all the quarters would qualify for First Day and First Strike designations. These early issues tend to be of a higher grade than later circulation mintages because they were minted early in die life. THE INCLUDED S MINTED QUARTERS ARE ALREADY A SCARCITY! With only 500 thousand non-proof S quarters minted out of a total of nearly 750 million Kanaka’ole quarters, the non-proof S quarters will prove to be highly sought after.
