Also, tracking of first class is a courtesy, not a requirement, of USPS. It is not uncommon for first class items to not get scanned. As they put it - "priority is always the priority." My wife and I always work to get shipments out on Mon/Wed/Fri and Saturday (if warranted). As my family works primarily with collectibles, the above may not be an issue as collectors collect when the collectible becomes available, and not so much because of specific holidays.
