Description: This is an original Womb lounge chair, model 70LM, initially designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1948. These examples were produced in the USA in the 2010s. The listed price includes one lounge chair, and we have two chairs available for purchase. Their design features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass that sits atop four splayed tubular chromed-steel legs. They retain their original Knoll boucle upholstery in what we believe to be “Smoke” grey. Each chair measures 31 inches deep, 35 inches wide, and 31.25 inches high. This is the medium size, not the large. They have a seat height of 15 inches, and an arm height of 18 inches. The chromed-steel legs show some wear from use, and the boucle upholstery has some light wear. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction.
