Description: 20 Used Good COPIC Ink Markers Pens 11 Sketch 9 Ciao Blue Green Yellow YG BG G B --- 20 used but in good condition markers (I have over 160 in my collection, these are from a small collection some of which I kept, these are the duplicates). --- Below I will go on at length how I determined the condition and past use of these pens without knowing the original owner (besides making test marks, inspecting the tips, I weighed each on a jeweler scale and compared the weights to pens in my own collection which I chose based on the ones I rarely used, I sampled enough pens to see that the pens I rarely used weighed within a tenth of a gram of each other, and using that number I weighed the pens in this lot). Pens in this listing: SKETCH:B32B66BG13BG72BG90YG11YG13YG41YG45YG61G20G43 (DRIED OUT) Pistachio CIAO:B00BG000BG10BG15BG23G00G02G21YG17 --- There are actually 21 markers, but G43 Pistachio is dried out. NOTE the Ciao markers have the color code written in black fine tip pen (in my own collection it's my main complaint with the Ciao markers), I rubbed on the lettering on a cap and I can see it will come off. --- In the photos I show a sample mark of both the brush and chisel tips for each marker. Some of the colors are so light they are hard to see. --- In my own collection I have many colors that I keep a refill for, so I know these do get used up after a certain amount of use, and that raises the question of how much use have these had? I went through my own pens and weighed a few dozen individually to get an idea of what a Sketch and Ciao pen should weigh (I compared the weights of colors I've used a lot and colors I never really used much). I found that the Sketch pens I used infrequently tended to weigh 14.0 to 14.2 grams each (colors used more often would be as low as 9g, it's not a perfectly scientific method but at least it's something evidence based to use as comparison). I then weighed the Sketch markers in this listing and they were all in the 14.0-14.2g range (or slightly higher). I found that the Ciao markers tended to weigh 10.7g to 10.8g (many of the Ciao in my collection were under 10g, while the ones in this listing are all 10.7g to 10.8g). --- There are a few other things which can give clues about past use, the tip condition (the brush tips do wear out and I've had to frequently replace tips after so many refills and use), also, cross staining of inks on tips. After a lot of use it's hard to avoid picking up pencil lead, other colors etc, so looking at how even the tip color is can be a clue. And for the tips in this collection they all looked pure in color without contamination and they all have good shape. --- One last thing is how do the inside of the caps look, when I first started using copics I found that the inside of caps quickly picked up ink and also the tapered end grips. In the photos I show the inside of the brush ends of the caps (the chisel ends look about the same), you can see a few ink markings in some caps, but mostly not. I'm sure the lettering on the body of the pens will wear off too at some point but I haven't gotten to that point yet for my pens. --- See photos for condition details. --- Will be well packed --- See shipping options above --- Payment expected within 3 days of purchase (contact me if you need more time). --- The item description is guaranteed to be accurate but all items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated. --- I don't have a way to arrange for a local pick-up of this item, I'm sorry for the inconvenience
