If you haven't ever made sun-dried tomatoes, here are the instructions: 1. You can make sun-dried tomatoes with any tomato - Principe Borghese are firm and sturdy and are especially easy to dry.2. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C).Wash and halve tomatoes. Gently squeeze out the seeds. 3. Place the tomatoes on a non-stick cookie sheet, and sprinkle with salt to taste.Bake until tomatoes take on a leathery texture. Less juicy tomatoes and smaller pieces will require less oven time. These seeds are from tomatoes I grew on my farm. I am not a professional seed grower, but I have been saving and sharing seed for many years.
