Description: Here's a pair of "barley twist" candlesticks by "Three Mountaineers" of Asheville, NC. The cups are meant to hold standard taper candles. I'm not sure what kind of wood they are made of but it looks like walnut to me. They measure 14 1/4" tall and 5 1/4" diameter at the base. Both candlesticks are in great shape. There are no splits or other structural weakness.I didn't polish them so you can see the true condition. There's a bit of scuffing around the rim of the cups, and some wax still in there.
