Description: This challenge coin medal is a special commemorative item celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Exonumia. The medal is made of 0.999 bronze and features a beautiful design inspired by the Perseverance In The Pines theme. It is a perfect addition to any collection of coins, paper money, or medals. The medal is uncirculated and comes with a 2-inch size, a .15 inch thickness and weighs a little over 50 grams. Made in the United States, this medal is a great way to celebrate the legacy of Exonumia. The history on this coin pulled from Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team’s website: “During the 2019-2020 school year, BCLTRT and Deep In The Heart Art Foundry held a Perseverance in the Pines: 10 Years of Recovery Commemorative Coin Contest. High School students from Bastrop, Cedar Creek, McDade, Smithville and Elgin were asked to create a front or back side for our commemorative coin. These students were in elementary school or younger when the fires happened, so to see the detail they put into these designs was awesome.”
