One option was, ‘OvenDrive,’ but ‘OvenServe’ with its one-word spelling was selected. Two days later backstamps and labels were made with the new OvenServe logo. By the end of the month, dozens of decorations were tested on OvenServe. On July7th, Polychrome, the hand-painted treatment consisting of yellow, blue, green, and pink, was being used and variations would be considered in weeks ahead.” (An Overview of Homer Laughlin Dinnerware C. 2002, by Mark Gonzalez).Condition: Good vintage condition for these absolutely beautiful eye-catching bowls - no chips or cracks - some crazing and slight under the glaze discoloration from age. One of the bowls has an under the rim factory mold flaw where factory production left marks. Bowls have other small factory flaws and kiln marks, all common for vintage ceramic pieces. The bowls have some minor handling wear and discoloration on inside of bowl. Red lines are clean and bright with little to no wear. Overall these rare bowls are in great condition. See all pictures.
