Each of the double sided cauls has a mortise tip (used in mortise while it dries after bushing removal) and the final tip, used for installing both sides of the felt bushing simultaneously. Black is for .147 pins. Green for .162 (old Steinway balance rail). White is for .137 pins. Orange is for .129 pins. Blue is for .087 pins (balance rail on some old 1910-1920’s grands). The black triple end is for .147 pins and adds the intermediate size caul for those who bush one side first and then use the final for the second side. Free tech support with purchase!
