Description: 19th Century Unusual Folk Art Chapel/Monument Model An exceptionally well hand-crafted late 19th Century folk art model of a chapel or monument of sorts. With opening doors, hand painted altar with chalice. This model is made from sections of pine wood and the attention to detail is quite special as you can see from the photos provided. The doors that open are on brass hinges and the altar is removable as is the religious plaster figure at the crown of this building. Dimensions in inches: H 29” x W 23” x D 10” Origin: UnknownAge: Late 19th CenturyCondition: Fair This antique object is completely solid in structure and form, it is firmly in place but has aged naturally over the years. Natural wear across the painted surface has exposed the wooden pine underneath in sections. A surface crack to the left side of the building is present but this does not affect the item in anyway structurally. We strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase. A direct message usually takes 24 hours to answer. For multiple years we have sold antique items globally, please expect our items to show relevant age and natural wear, Items only restored due to breaks and major loss, and we always stipulate this in our condition report.
