1999 Klein Mantra Race Carbon - Medium - Full Suspension Mountain Bike

Description: Up for sale is this 1999 Klein Mantra Race Carbon. Everything is in working order. Frame: The main frame is in good condition but there are a few scratches from use. The rear triangle is in good working order as well, but there are two spots where the bottom of the seat post wore through the finish and into the aluminum (see last two photos). When I purchased the bike, someone had dropped the post completely down and added a comfort seat and high rise bars. The post must have rubbed when the suspension was activated. The rear shock holds air. I replaced the pivot and bushings when I went through the bike. The originals were good, but I had a set from kleinspainted.com, so I figured I would use them. The anti chain suck device is included but not shown. It was damaged at some point and is missing its leading edge, but it did its job and protected the frame.Fork: The fork is in good working order. The lock out works, but there is slight compression before it engages. I imagine this is how this particular forked always worked. The elastomers were replaced with a new set from suspensionforkparts.org. I will include the original elastomers in the box. Wheels: The wheels are original and in good shape. Some of the decals are torn or coming off the rim. The photos show two different sets of tires. The bike will come with the Kenda, John Tomac KoT kevlar set shown in third and fourth to last photos. I needed the tires from the first few photos for a different build. Drivetrain: The drivetrain and brakes are original (XT/XTR). The chain is new and cables have been replaced. Pedals are new. Seat, Post, and Bars: The bike comes with the original Thomson post and a new Origin 8 seat. The bars are Bontrager Crowbar Comp. There are several nicks and dings on the bars. The original bars and seat were gone when I purchased the bike. Grips are new but the originals will also be included. The shipping price is based off a 57" x 8" x 28" box with some weight allowance for proper padding etc. I am not trying to make money off of the shipping.
