He served as Project and Deputy Director/Manager over multiple key programs including AXAF/CHANDRA and the HUBBLE Space Telescope receiving multiple Exceptional and Leadership Service Medals with one being for the Lunar Rover Vehicle/Skylab. This listing is for a DR. ERNST STUHLINGER SIGNED LETTER to Mr. Wojtalik on June 14, 1997 thanking him for his Excellent guided tour of the AXAF PROJECT (Later known as Chandra). Letter references photos which are still enclosed and included with the listing that include Dr. Stuhlinger and Mr. Wojtalik. Two photos included, one horizontal and one vertical. Both photos are 5x7.5 inches. Letter and Photos are in Excellent overall condition for use and age with mailing envelope showing some wear including creasing, postage stamps, postmark stamp and address labels.
