He spent nearly his entire career with the Braves. He anchored the elite Atlanta staff in the 90s along with Greg Maddux and Tom Glavin. An 8X All-Star, 2X National League wins and strikeout leader. In 1996 he won the NL Cy Young Award. He helped the Atlanta Braves win the World Series in 1995. Smoltz was quite possibly the most versatile pitcher of all-time being the only player MLB history with 200 wins, 150 saves and 3000 strikeouts. Shown here is a John Smoltz 1995 away jersey complete with year specific Braves 30th Anniversary & '95 World Series patches. Russell Athletic supplied the Braves road jerseys from 1993-1999 while Wilson supplied the home jerseys till Russell took over for both in 2000. Size is a 44 which is an adult L. Measures 30.5-34” top to bottom and 23” pit to pit. Jersey is in immaculate shape however it looks like the buttons on custom. They are a two hole gray and not the customary four hole clear ones. You don't find too many Smoltz out there if any. And specifically ones that come with the correct patches. With the Braves expectations sky high for 2024 this would make the perfect addition to any Atlanta fans game day gear. Get it while it's hot!
