The 4 pages of 101 Ideas features model Annette Oltshoorn and is photographed by Philip Webb. There are 8 pages of women who work in fashion giving a preview of their summer wardrobes. Their complete outfits, including accessories and sometimes lipstick and nail color choices, is charmingly illustrated by Lynne Riding. Please see photo #5 for full contents page. The ads of the day include: Paulina Porizkova for Estēe Lauder; Isabella Rossellini for Lancôme; Sarah Moon's photo for Cacharel's Loulou fragrance; fashion labels Crisca, Laurèl, Mani by Giorgio Armani, Synonyme de Georges Rech and British brands such as Next Directory and Oui. Condition: the front and back covers exhibit shelf wear, including creases, scrapes and two tiny tears at the bottom of the spine (see photos #2, #3 and #4). There is a small 1/4" tear at the top of page 7, which is an ad page. The pages that are white have darkened slightly at the edges. The binding is tight and all the interior pages are clean and intact. March 1989 - with model Stephanie on the cover, photographed by Eamonn J. McCabe. 226 pages. The fashion editorials include: John Galliano, Stefanel, Jasper Conran, Gwenyth Phillips, John Flett, Joseph, Georges Rech, Cornelia James, Bernstock/Speirs for Workers for Freedom, Gabriella Ligenza, Rifat Ozbek, Katharine Hamnett, Twinset, Arkitekt, Dranella, Jaeger, Whistles, Oasis, Penny Black and Heti Gervis. A couple of the editorials were beautifully photographed in Egypt by Tim Bret-Day. The A-Z of Accessories features 4 pages of interesting photographs by Trevor Key. And an editorial on the silhouettes of '89 features Mats Gustafson illustrating Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, Montana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yohji Yamamoto and Lacroix. There are also interesting ads of the day including a 2-page b&w spread for Yohji Yamamoto photographed by Nadine Szewczyk; a colorful Charles Jourdan ad; a creative 2-page Liberty of London spread; Moschino's humorous ad with Franco himself in 9 different poses, including one photo where he poses with himself; 12 pages for the MaxMara group, showing clothes from MaxMara, Sportmax, I Blues, Marella and Pennyblack; Linda Evangelista for Gianni Versace; a 2-page spread with Yasmin Le Bon for Ouiset; Tatjana Patitz for Rochas Byzance fragrance; and Helena Christensen for In-Wear. Condition: Exhibits shelf wear including a few creases, scrapes and wrinkles on the covers (see photos #2, #14 and #15); the lighter pages have darkened a bit on the edges. The binding is tight and the pages are intact.
